Hi Folks,
I've had tinnitus for several years. Big drag, but I can deal with it.
However, sometimes my ears become extremely sensitive to sound,
particularly in the upper midrange, which becomes strident and
uncomfortable.
Usually this lasts for a day or two. Approximately two weeks ago my left ear became sensitive to sound - almost any sound level bothers it a little - and it still feels that way.
My questions:
1. Is this Hyperacusis? I thought Hyperacusis was permanent, whereas my ear sensitivity (until now) has been only occasional.
2. Does anyone else here experience such hearing sensitivity that comes and goes?
