Hi everyone! I started taking the prescription medication Septra twice a
day on Saturday morning.
Even though tinnitus is one of the side effects
listed for this drug I decided to try it anyway because I haven't had much
luck with some of the alternative drugs to treat this same condition. Well,
everything was fine until about an hour ago.
All of a sudden my tinnitus got significantly and alarmingly louder in my right ear. I'm trying not to
panic, but it reminds me of how sudden the tinnitus came on when I first got it back in '97. Should I be concerned and go to the ENT if it doesn't get better by tomorrow?
Help!
