I'm new to this NG, but have been reading these posts with interest

Other than the beeping of the alarm clock (which I sometimes can't
distinguish from the T, it's generally pretty quiet in the house, since
I live alone..

Mine generally stays at the same level most of the time, but is more
noticable when it's dead quiet or when in my computer room with the
computer running..

Can't do that, as I work in such a place, and I do wear ear
protection... HAVE to, safety rules require it... I work in a foundry
where we make cast iron cookware so you have the noise of numerous
grinders and various other noisy machines running all day..

Being of Cherokee Indian heritage, as well as that of certain
European heritages which I'll leave unnamed, prayer is an integral part
of my life.. :)

P.S. I don't rightly remember for sure when I started noticing the T,
but it has been at least 10 yrs or so, and has been pretty intense the
whole time.. especially when my sinusitus is at its worse. Often times
it (the T) gets so intense it about drives me up the wall.
