Quiet room, yes, but I realize that my T seems to grow much louder
with my ear next to a wall or other surface. There is a "presence"
that is difficult to describe, almost like I am closer to the "source"
and the volume is turned up. Standing in a larger, open area, even in
dead quiet, is much more preferable. Perhaps there is more motion in
the air creating some type of white noise that masks the problem.
