Janz, John Hamilton's comments were probably the best suggestions you will
get. I appreciate his honesty and intelligence.

I too am plagued with tinnitus and in the beginning, was totally hysterical.
It started with a sinus infection. The infection cleared up and the "hissing"
in my ears never went away. I cried and cried, hoping this noise would go
away. I went to an Ears, Nose & Throat specialist and they told me maybe it
would get better when the weather changed. That's when I knew the doctor's
really knew nothing about this problem.

After many months of tolerating this noise and hoping it would go away one day,
I finally found myself able to focus on other things and not really hear that annoying
hissing in my ears. Sometimes I found myself checking to see if it was still there.

A few years have gone by now, I'm still sane, I have learned not to focus on the noise
in my ears, and I have gone on with my life. Trust me Janz, I was totally upset in the
beginning, but now, I have learned that I can deal with the hissing noise and focus on
other things.

You'll be alright, forget about your ears, and enjoy your life! Life is so short.

Best Wishes,
Carol
