I have and am having at this moment a VERY severe T episode immediately after beginning a course of Augmentin 875mg /2x daily, which I have only been taking for the past 5 days following a severe ear infection. Aha!! you say...ear infection! But!! There is also this: I recall having the same reaction to PennVK used in dental-type infections several years ago. Conclusion: Despite my readings to the contrary, my personal experience lead me to believe the book is not closed on this category of drugs!
