Yes, tinnitus is a documented but rare side effect of ERT (estrogen replacement therapy). Progestins are known to counteract this side effect; ask your doctor about the possibility of taking progestins, even though you don't have a uterus. Explain that your tinnitus is driving you batty. Also, you should know that Premarin is a product of horse urine. As an equestrian, I do not use these products. You can do a search on the internet for information - but be aware that it is upsetting. There are pharmaceutical estrogens made from plants - and pharmacists can compound them for you, if needed.
