HAve had T for 11 years. '95 The tinnitus elevated. I was in grave condition. I was hospitalized and put on XANAX and prozac. I eventually accepted my tinnitus and stayed on the meds for 6 years when I asked the doctor to get me off the meds. I was slowly removed from Xanax. Everything was great for 6 months then bam my T went crazy again. I'm bad on the same meds trying to deal and hope to get back to my comfortable level. At this point when I get to an acceptance level I stay on these meds for the rest of my life or until a cure or a proven medication is discovered!
