Well Mike funny you should ask. Hmm, on April 15, 1992, I suddenly
(PA feedback trauma) got sensorineural T after years of progressive
hearing loss from being a lead guitarist. Anyhow, the first 4 or 5
years, my nerves were not settled into this yet and I would get these
electrical sensations similar to a pressurized tank releasing air.
They were very prevalent if I took a nap, when I awoke in the morning,
or simply was exhausted. I think it tied into the change in the
brain's activity as it goes through the different phases of sleep.
All I know is it was hell because it felt like I was being hit by a
truck. And even though it was random, I could almost control it by
rising my anxiety level by cycling my thoughts in expectation of it.
Finally, I found Prozac and it quenched the thirst of whatever synapse
needed it coz it hasn't been back for years now. But I'm sure if I
accidentally get new damage, it'll rear it's head again. That's my
story and I'm sticking to it.
