Yes and results were disasterous -- I tried to taper off xanax
over 3 months after 17 years of use while waiting for my app't
with Dr. Jastreboff. It turned my ho-hum T into a Stephen King
nightmare -- incredibly loud, constant T, practically no sleep, ...
It took me another 3 very trying months to re-establish my
theraputic level of xanax -- will not alter the protocol again
willingly.
I'm not sure how to distinguish between a dependency and
an addiction (if there is a difference) -- xanax is definitely
habit forming and withdrawal is not easy at all -- it can help
a lot.
