The jury is apparantly still out on which ligament(s) links the TMJ area to
the tympanic cavity. I've always thought it was the sphenomandibular, but the
point really is the answer to your question.
The answer is the relationship between *some* people's tinnitus and some
people's craniomandibular disorders is significant.
There are numerous therapies including osteopathic, exercises, wearing a
splint, reducing stress, taking anti-anxiety medications and the like.
