The test is slightly uncomfortable

Jozafeen,

The water test is slightly uncomfortable, but a lot less so than I thought
it would be. The chair testing was wierd. The whole experience is
disorientating and rather stresful, since you are spinning around in the
dark and they force you to keep yuour eyes wide open, but it did not affect
my T at all during or after (though I think it did trigger a migraine).

I didn't throw up or anything, and it really wasn't that bad. Just a slight
bit unsettling, but if you have a good tech, they will get you through it.
I had a much worse experience with the MRI and the ABR was more
uncomfrtable.

I wouldn't worry about it. It is not as bad is you are imagining it is. I
was more worried about having water remaining in my ears, but that was
drained out very well.

Thanks,

Mike
