I agree with your conclusions. I went to a Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey game
last night and used my 25NRR ear plugs. By the end of the game, my tinnitus
as raging again. About three hours worth of ear-plug time, more or less.

I seem to have more problems after using the ear plugs for a long period of
time rather when used for much shorter periods.

This has also been the case when I've used ear plugs for other events as
well.
