Hello Mike,
I have severe migraines on a daily basis. I have taken both Depakote and Topomax
but the side effects from both were worse that the migraines and now I'm back to
square one again.
I had tinnitus with Depakote and with Topomax. Stopped Depakote due to 10 lb
weight gain. (I am petite and can't afford gaining). I was taking Topomax for
almost a yr. but stopped because of 10 - 15 lb. weight loss, severe drying of
the mouth and being constantly thirsty. I had kidney stones as well which is a
nasty side effect of Topomax.
Well, I hope this information helps.
