The common factors listed among those of us who encountered tinnitus after
taking Biaxin were:
The flu
An infection in the ear that caused the glands near the jaw bone and behind
the ear to swell. Mine still hasn't completely unswollen even after almost
three months of different antibiotics.
I was also given Rubitussin C.
Obviously it is not a 100% occurrence for all Biaxin users but there is
definitely a serious problem for some people. Most likely the problem is so
insignificant due to the small number of people devastated by the
tinnitus...
