I wore headphones and listened to music during my MRI. It didn't
have any lasting effect. I had to have both -- a CAT scan and
an MRI. To the original poster, I wouldn't have any test performed
on me if I were not comfortable with it. If your doctor won't budge,
you might consider a second opinion.
