Hi,
I got my T 11 years ago in a similar way : it joined the flu - I fully
recovered from the flu, but T has been residing in my ears ever since.
I could write you a book on how this slowly ruined - but then really totally
ruined - my life and I also had a period in which I was terribly depressed.
After succesful TRT, I can perfectly live with my T, I don't even notice him
all day long, but at night before falling asleep, I have to make sure he's
still there or I can't sleep.
On top of it, since 2,5 yrs, I had 7 attacks of sudden deafness, allways
starting with a totally new T then the one that's residing there already.
This makes that I regularly need sleeping medication (a light one) - and I
also have a sort of sound pillow which is attached to a CD-player. My
husband doesn't hear it - it's just me. Listening to dolphins and the sea
gives me the best onset for sleeping.
It's a long way, but try to deal with it, use definitely sound enrichment at
all times and I wish you the very best !
